Laurie
I have offered raw broccoli to Klaus many times. He wouldn't even pick it up to play with it! Tonight we had cooked broccoli so I offered him some that had been cooked, and he's eating it! Yeah!
judygram
Yeah sometimes we just have to offer it in a different form or whatever, but as long as he is eating it good for him and congrats on getting him to eat his green stuff.
Laurie
Thanks! Next I want to try carrot that's shredded. I've given him peeled baby carrots, but he just thinks they're great fun to rip up & throw around...
judygram
Josey will eat carrots especially if they are cooked and she loves sweet potatoes also, but lots of foods get the rip up and throw around routine.
lovemyGreys
Great news Laurie, just keep trying different things & different ways to offer foods
pyrowaves
Cool on the greens! i'm having the same thing with Sassy. trying to figure out WHAT veggies I can get her to eat and how!
casper
The key is never to give up! Offer the veggies in a different style, some like certain foods lightly cooked or steamed, others like them mashed. If they dont eat them the first time you offer them re-try again in the future! Ive done this with mine and its worked second time round.
