darkila79
Im the happy mum of a 3 week old cag, but he is alone in his broomer and im a bit worried for that. I was thinking to buy a little friend for him, maybe a lovebird so he can grow up with a bird friend and not only with me. What do you think? Could be a good idea? SRSeedBurners
At 3 weeks old, that's probably a good time to do it as they won't have many hangups about bringing in a new bird.
kins2321@yahoo.com
As a mama who has MBS ( multi bird syndrome), I'd wait just a little. Do you actually have posession of a three week old baby? If so... you have a ton of work to do being baby's mama. Most greys come home around 16 weeks. This is bonding and feeding time. Your baby won't notice a new companion, nor should they be stressed about sharing you. Socialization IS a major part of their life, and believe me, I took it to the extreme. LOL! Enjoy your baby. If you are gone for long stretches during the day, encourage family members to help you. You will eventually need to work on social skills and companionship, but definitely not right now.
