alex2014 Posted June 21, 2014 Share Posted June 21, 2014 I got tired of the constant mess of the newspaper around the outside of the cage, besides tearing it up every chance Alex and Rocco get Alex likes to hang off the outside of his cage and exercise his wings and that send the paper everywhere. So i looked around and got some boot trays from Bed Bath and Beyond, I trimmed the edge off the side of one so 2 can slip together and make it long enough for the front. I use a vinyl office chair pad under Inara's cage, and also another one in the living room over the carpet in front of the sofa where she likes to sit on one of her perches while I read. Also works like a charm. I like that the boot trays are smaller, and could move around easier -- great for under portable perches or play areas. Thanks for sharing your "fix."
