chezron Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 I have been doing Vinyasa yoga everyday (or more) to handle the stress of my divorce. I guess I have been saying, "Mama's sore" because lately Brutus has mastered the word, "sore" and he says it A LOT! He draws it out and makes it a multi-syllable word. It is funny. He also says "Oh My Gawd" now and I didn't realize I sound just like a Valley Girl. Before, when he just copied my husband I could talk with impunity because Brutus only copied him and not me. Brutus is just my funny, sweet little guy and I love him so much!
katana600 Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 That is sooo funny. It's really interesting that Brutus is changing and picking up your voice just about the same time as Gilbert started mocking me saying my husband's name. All the other words she uses have a definite Southern drawl and are often male sounding in tone. When Brutus begins to do those yoga poses you are going to have to get video. I love that he is finding ways to make you smile. He is a great yoga buddy.
Ray P Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Brutus is trying to bring you comfort and make you smile. You have to just love it.
chezron Posted June 13, 2014 Author Posted June 13, 2014 I really do think Brutus has a sense of humor! I think many things crack him up!
kins2321@yahoo.com Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 LOL! Welcome to sounding like a " valley girl", because apparently I sound like one also! LOL! I'm good with that... It just amuses me and makes me love her even more. Nancy
Talon Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Too funny! My birds all yell, OMG, I guess I say it a lot too....
Luvparrots Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 OMG is not what I say. It is, "Good Lord". So Sterling Gris, cag, uses this phrase alot. I have been having fun saying things I think are cute and Sterling Gris is a great mimic. Enjoy Brutus cuteness.
