ChrisC
Can anybody explain why the chest of a Grey quivers ? I though at first it was stress or fear when we first got Mama Mia but she does it even when she is relatively relaxed. @+ Chris
katana600
It is a sign of excitement in general, it can be excitement of anticipation as well as fear or many other emotions in between. You may have to use other body language in each circumstance to add information to read Mama Mia's state of mind.
JeffNOK
My CAG Gracie tends to have a quivering chest when she is excited and happy. She tends to flatten her feathers when she is scared.
ShaneO
Would they Quiver if cold??
kins2321@yahoo.com
I dont think so ShaneO , but a good suggestion! Kiki our Amazon did the same thing when she was a baby. I'm suspecting an " immature nervous system", as I suspected with Kiki as the temperature was correct. She eventually stopped. A baby thing but needs to be mentioned to the vet.
