Out on a harness for the first time

Pookie enjoying his first trip out in nature. Yesterday was the first time I was able to put a harness on him, so we went out on our patio as a test.

Today we went out on a walk to a nearby river and he enjoyed it a lot. Lots of kids were around us inquiring about him.

He does seem to be enjoying the great outdoors and what opportunities that presents to you and him for future outings, kids do love seeing birds outside with their owners.

Blue is a good color to use. Reminds me of their iridescent blue on their belly when the light hits them just right. Nice place to go for walks with the Grey. I love rivers.

Congratulations on getting Pookie to wear a harness. I'd be a finger amputee if I tried that on Dorian. She looks like she's really enjoying being outside.

Okay... loved the pics! So the newbies are teaching the oldies! LOL! Of COURSE that is how it should be. When I get the harness for Sophie which I am ordering....I sure hope everyone is available if there is " fallout!" Nancy
