linkin Posted November 1, 2007 Share Posted November 1, 2007 hello everyone i have a three yr old african grey and since i have had him he has feather plucked however he had all hios nice feathers coming in and getting all the nutrionts and atention he needs and some however came hometoday and oh my goodness not many feathers left any ideas? loviechick Posted November 1, 2007 Share Posted November 1, 2007 First off, we need more details. How long have you had him? Has he been vet checked? What are these "nutrients" you're giving him? How big is his cage? Where is he in the home, near a high traffic area, in a separate room away from people? Is he a rehome? Have you had him since he was weaned? Does he have any toys? Are there other birds/animals in the house? Any children? Lots of new people coming into their area? Has the environment changed at all? Has anything about you changed, shampoo, hair color, clothing styles, perfumes etc? These are just some fo the things I can think of off the top of my head, but all of these things depending on the answers can determine possibilities of what's wrong!
