Timbersmom Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 I got this boing for Timber last August (2013). After 4 months of looking at it from a distance, he finally ventured onto the lower parts. Today, he made it to the top! I'm so proud of him. Some of you may not think this is a big deal, but some with rehomes, rescues, or just really timid greys will understand my excitement
Luvparrots Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 I am very happy for Timber. Hooray! He needs a bell at the top so he can ring in his triumph.
Timbersmom Posted February 23, 2014 Author Posted February 23, 2014 LOL That's a good idea! There is one at the bottom, which tempted his first contact with the boing.
Brat Birds Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Yeah Timber!!! Now you know that scary thing isn't going to kill you - would you please trust your Mom the next time! LOL
katana600 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Congratulations to Timber the adventurer. Way to Go! You are making such great strides in your new home and habitat. There is nothing like the thrill of watching a little soul come out and peel off the layers of baggage to settle in and find new skills and reawaken the joy he has to share with you Karen. I love following you and Timber as you widen his horizons and soar into the wonderful life you have planned together.
Inara Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 What a great photo, and how cool is Timber?! Go Timber, GO!! Boing, boing, boing..
judygram Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Those boings are hard to resist and Timber found his in his own time, grey time.
SRSeedBurners Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Safety first - haahaa! Good job Timber. Took Greycie about 6 months to decide that helium balloons in our living room weren't there to kill her.
