I love it when the light bulb comes on!!! I was spraying a pan with a "Misto" filled with olive oil when it suddenly hit me that this was the bird misting apperatis that I've been searching for for years! Rosie is terrified of misters that make the slightest sound! I ran to the store, purchase one, and Voila! Best $7 I ever spent!

Well done! Great idea, I may have to try this myself because Miss Gilbert is terrified and upset by any kind of watering device I have used and we have a bin full. I have a Misto for my cooking oils and will get a new one to try for her. Thanks for the tip.

I wish Sophie wouild tolerate any mist or a shower. All are a failure for more than a decade. We now just treat the shower as " we have GOT to do it!" I hear " NO ROM! NOOOOOO! She forgives me quickly, and enjoys a blow dry during the winter. It sucks to be the mean parent. Nancy

Don't get me wrong, Rosie still dislikes the water, but tolerates it MUCH better than the others. The more I spray her the more she gets used to it. At least she's not jumping to the bottom of her cage like she used too

While we have a leak in the roof, it is over her favorite spot. Gate that separates kitchen and family room. Sophie's domain. I have a pot to collect the leak, but Sophie likes to throw the pot onto the ground. THEN... she gets a water leak on her body. OMG.... she sounds like the wicked witch from OZ..... " I'm melting"...
