dm930
I am new to this forum and recently purchased a CAG. My local exotic bird store gave my a 15 day guarrantee against disease. Is this typical as it seemed to be a bit short. Demetri
Laurie
My breeder allowed a window of time to take Klaus in for a check up. I think it was between 2 - 4 weeks, I can't remember now. So from my perspective 15 days doesn't seem that short.

Talon
I know a lot of people buy birds without a guarantee of any kind. Some do. I had one shipped from Florida to Massachusetts with no guarantee whatsoever.B)

judygram
I didn't get any kind of guarantee either when I got Josey but then I didn't get mine from a professional breeder.

danmcq
Welcome Demetri!! How old is your new CAG and how long have you had him? We'll look forward to hearing more from you and maybe seeing some photos when you get a chance. :-)
lovemyGreys
Demetri Health guarantees vary from breeder to breeder, some offer health guarantees others offer nothing. Many disease's may lay dormant & not show themselves within two weeks anyhow, A general vet check is advisable during the 15 day time period they have given you.
