Headdy Posted August 15, 2002 Posted August 15, 2002 My ten year old CAG is very used to me vacuuming around his cage- I have to because of his powder- also he likes to grab a handful of food and throw it to get attention occasionally- anyway- I've been vacuuming almost every day for this long- ten years- and his reaction is the same and kind of puzzling. He turns upside-down, gets in a top corner of the cage and stares a the vacuum like he's in a trance. Even after I am through and have shut it off and put it away- he's in the same position for awhile looking trance-like. It's kind of comical, but I wonder what it means- is it his reaction to the sound of it?
Guest DrArcHeH Posted August 15, 2002 Posted August 15, 2002 Mine imitates the sound (wooo...) & watches intently. He isnt afraid. He also likes to have his faetrhers went over with the hand vacuum (not a powerful model).
Guest BAD_KEVY Posted August 19, 2002 Posted August 19, 2002 Despite that cyndr stomps around glaring at my vacuum cleaner. He runs to the side of his cage I am vacuuming under recently barking at it. I think he thinks its another dog which I keep hidden in the closet most of the time becasuse its so noisy.
