Timbersmom Posted November 9, 2013 Share Posted November 9, 2013 Are you getting two cages? Unless they are a bonded pair they each need a cage. I know how you feel about the cage. When I rehomed Timber 17 months ago he came in a nasty, old, small cage. He was attached to it though and it took almost 8 months to get him to accept the new cage. Just take it gently and slowly. We're here to help, advise, and encourage. Put together the new cage in front of them so they see it come together, and don't be surprised if they're attached to their old awful cage, it's their safe place right now. If they are a bonded pair it will be difficlut to turn them into pets, but you can still improve their lives dramatically. Welcome to the forum. There's so much great information and help here, not to mention a lot of fun also. I am sincerely looking forward to hearing about your two "love birds."
