hi shaz, i am in the UK too, i have Brian insured through these.. this is a direct link to the quotation form for exotic birds. i think it was about £180 for the year.

Speaking of insurance, which is a great Topic, how many here have it on their Greys?

 

If you do, does it cover checks-up and what is the deductible and maximum amount per year, if any?

mine covers all emergency treatment and i only have to pay £30. so if brian got seriously hurt and needed hundered's of pounds of treatment i could claim on the insurance and just pay the initial £30 (i've forgotten the name for this payment)... my insurance cost would go up when i renewed though.

it says on the policy it covers death too... i'm not sure how that works, i didn't look into it because i don't want to think about that.

i pay £5 per month per grey so only £15 a month for me for the top full cover,i believe the excess is £60 per claim.worth a look to compare with beccy's.
