jgerardo
I noticed Luna will kind of cough after drinking water is that normal? He drinks water from a bottle like the ones hamsters use (that is how breeder was giving him water) by the way he is almost 3 months old so I don't think he is copying our coughs. Cosmos_Friend
Have you tried feeding Luna water from a bowl? I'm not sure parrots actually "cough". Maybe some of the other g.f. members can enlighten you on this... Cosmo (my CAG) imitates my cough followed by saying "Cough". ~Rick Edited October 2, 2013 by Cosmos_Friend
Timbersmom
No clue on this one either. As Rick suggested, I would try a water bowl instead of the bottle and see what happens.

I need to buy him one that wont tip over :-p If your Greys cage doesn't have food stations that hold the bowls from tipping over, you can purchase bowls that can be fixed on the side of the cage, usually with a simple wing-nut that can be easily be removed to refill the bowl with fresh water daily. ~Rick
Timbersmom
That is exactly what I did. Purchased a bowl that attaches. It is bigger than his food bowls as well.
