judygram
What a cutie pie, wish my tiel would sing but I think I have a female and they don't whistle or sing, thanks for sharing that with us Penny.
Ray P
That tiel looked like a female because the lack of yellow on its head. As s rule its the male cockatiel that will talk and sing, but from time to time there have been female cockatiels that will talk. They both can be good singers, but its the male that is known to be a good singer. Almost all of my male tiels talked and most of my females were good singers. I just love those little bags of snot. Little parrot big attitude.
judygram
They do have quite a personality in a small package but I love the one I got even if she can't sing or whistle, who knows maybe one day another one will drop into my backyard and be able to sing or whistle, stranger things have happened. katana600
Aww, I never knew how many different parrots I would love to have as housemates. Whatever will be will be. LOL. I really enjoyed this video. Thanks.
Muse
What a cutie pie, wish my tiel would sing but I think I have a female and they don't whistle or sing, thanks for sharing that with us Penny. Some days when Maks is on my shoulder and he does his contact call or the "come here" or "wolf" whistle in my ear, I wish he'd have been a quiet little girl... hehe. Muse
"Awww" factor of 10! What an adorable little bird. I am going to have to play that for Maks later... AFTER 'birdy quiet time' (aka nap) is over!
