Hi all. Gracie is trying to learn "Respect" by Aretha Franklin. She is practicing the spelling and then saying "Respect". I shot a video of her practicing. I had to be far from her and filmed on zoom. Otherwise she clams up. I hope you can hear her. She gets the spelling right sometimes and messes it up other times, but it is cute as heck if you ask me.

Her parrot 'accent' kept reminding me of something I've heard before. Watched a couple of the other videos and it finally came to me - she sounds just like 'Disco' the Parakeet. If she learns to talk like that little guy, you'll have a serious talker there.

Gracie has perfected the spelling now. She gets it right 99% of the time. Now I want to add "Sock it to me. Sock it to me. Sock it to me. Respect." But she hasn't taken to that yet.

JeffNOK Good luck with that! LOL! Sophie has decided she doesn't like how the " take me out to the ballgame" song goes. Last several times, she has changed it. I've noticed her change, as she changes it the same way each time. Typical of a grey! She wont change her song, so maybe yankees need to change theirs! LOL Nancy
