danmcq
Turns out well, but what the hell is society coming to? http://www.nytimes.com/2013/08/03/nyregion/a-bird-in-someone-elses-hand-was-too-much-to-bear.html?_r=1&
Ray P
Our companion parrots are more valuable to us than any street value they may have. Some people just see a quick buck and don`t care if it`s a loved one.

M'sBabies
This is a video of wild Quaker's that have lived in the Bronx for many years. I have family that lives there and the birds are still there.
danmcq
Thanks for that video. I had to laugh at the end of the video when that lady said "Will You be Quiet?". The Quakers are probably thinking the same thing when the ball games are going there.
katana600
Its a horrible sort of person who would grab someone's pet and sell it. I liked in the original article where there was a quote enlightening the parrotless that there is a bond between the parrot and its family or loved one. Its a horrible sort of person who would grab someone's pet and sell it. It does have a happy ending and was a good article. Thanks Dan. The video of the quakers in the Bronx was enjoyable too. They must be hardy little parrots.
Wingy
Quakers can be very hardy and very resilient. There are some wild ones living in Chicago in the parks. They have managed to adapt to the harsh winters. Edited August 7, 2013 by Wingy
