aerial.2000
Sooooooo helpppppppp !!! I need to have my house sprayed for spiders I think we've killed like 5 in the last week big ole wolf spiders. I am NOT a spider friendly person! SO ..I talked to the bug sprayer dude and he "thinks" since the spray is odorless etc that the bird should be fine said no one else has ever had any problems with their pets etc. yadda yadda ... BUT dang, teflon is odorless too and kills birds... Surely Im not the only one that has the need to have their house sprayed? I live in the country ... I dont want spiders!!!! (my son was bit when he was little by a brown recluse.. trust me I dont want spiders in my house!!!) suggestions?
Greywings
NOT SAFE-ask for the specific chemicals used and then call your Veterinarian for information as to toxicity. Better safe than sorry. Ask your pest controller how much they can afford to reimburse you for illness or death of your bird. Spiders hunt and lill bugs that can spread disease like roaches and flies. Dave007
If you're having problems with wolf spiders and recluse spiders, both of which are deadly, it's best to have it professionally done and remove your birds to another place. Pest control companies lays a killing agent and then a protective agent to temporarily keep them from coming back. Cold weather is nearby and your problems will lessen. Be careful with those types of spiders. They're not your everyday common spider. The pest control agent that's used does,t have a lingering odor. People here in PA have the same problems with those types of spiders.
