I feel horrible

I woke up this morning with a terrible cold and fever. Poor Phoenix wants out but I don't want to handle him being sick since he only wants to be on my arm or near me all the time. I had my Husband feed him and clean his cage this morning but I can hear him chirping. I feel so sad for him. My Husband will take him out this evening but until then the poor little guy has to amuse himself in his cage. He has plenty of toys to play with but it's the first time since I got him that he isn't with me all day. I promised him I'd make it up to him. Breaks my heart and I miss the little stinker. How fast they wind their way around our hearts.

Living life has its ups and downs and sometimes there is nothing you can do about it.

Phoenix will get over it and still love you. They know more than you think.
