Joolesgreyuk Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 I have no wish to turn this parrot forum into a political battle ground so I will simply request prayers for the broken-hearted family, friends and colleagues of the brave soldier slaughtered on the streets of London yesterday, thank you. I can't stop thinking about him and his poor family today..
katana600 Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 I agree, I have read the news and pray for all involved who witnessed it in person or on the reports as well. Senseless ghastly craziness, yet in the midst are good people stepping up and giving hope.
JeffNOK Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 I was just listening to radio and praying about that event before I opened this thread. I will continue to pray. Sadly, these things seem to be happening more and more. It is hard to make sense of such things.
judygram Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 What a senseless act but we will keep them in our thoughts and prayers.

Giving good wishes to a family that's suffered a tragedy isn't political. That type of thing happens all over the place. .
Joolesgreyuk Posted May 23, 2013 Author Posted May 23, 2013 Dave, by my opening comments I simply meant I didn't want to go into the reasons why this happened, only the tragic outcome.
