Silly question

Maybe a silly question but when me and nikki are saying hello to each other after some being apart for most the day she will let scratch her head then mouth my finger and feelit with her tounge, is this just being intrested in my hand or is this something more? i'm new to birds hence the silly question

There are NO silly questions here. My birds do that as well. It seems to be their way of being affectionate in letting you know they missed you and are loving your return home. My birds do it in the morning and when I was gone all day .

No question is silly, she may have missed you and is showing her appreciation for your presence.

LOl @ looking at the face. That cute look is just so inviting. When they are young they beak everything for texture, taste, hardness etc. That is how they test everything out. What they don't want they toss, what they like they either eat it, shred it or bash it around and watch you pick up the mess. BIG FUN!
