I ve had him for ~5 weeks, a poorly socialised, totally untrained, highly territorial and aggressive bird, capable of producing very nasty bites if touched/handled carelessly and unwillingly...

i am totally amazed, i ve never encountered such craving for contact and attention, he must have been deprived by his previous owners...i am not really sure how to handle such profoundly sexual behaviour...should i discourage it or use it to tame and bond with the bird further....

That is definitely sexual behavior and it should be discouraged for it will only make him frustrated, refrain from touching any of these areas; down the back, under the wings or anywhere around the tail area, just tell him thanks but no thanks and walk away for a few minutes.

Aris has really warmed up to you in the few weeks you have had him, he is a great looking grey.

Congratulations on the progress. I know the sexual behavior is kind of a bummer, but there is obvious trust there. He is a beautiful bird. Keep us posted on the continued bond.
