No, reptile lamps are not for birds at all. You need to get an avian light and stand such as:

You need a proper adjustable lamp stand with enclosure/reflector that you can position properly over and at the right distance from your greys cage. I have done a ton of research on avian lighting and I am just advising you what I reccomend and also caution on. There is a lot of science and engineering in developing a correct lamp and setup for avian specific lighting.
