lindasagiuchi Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 I have had my 5-month old CAG for three weeks now, and I just love her to pieces! However, she has a slight curvature of the spine, and her tail feathers are a little crooked when she sits up straight. Has anyone out there had a bird with this condition? Apart from this minor deformity, she flies, perches well and seems quite normal.
judygram Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 She does not know she has a deformity and does just fine, has she been seen by an avian vet to determine if anything can be done or if she might need to take anything for it?
danmcq Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 Never had a bird with Scoliosis so I cannot weigh in on this. It sounds like, as Judy said, it is not stopping her from doing the things all greys do. Perhaps Dave007 will have some experience with this since he has been breeding greys for decades.
