5 yrs old? I don't think so..

I was told that Sassy was 5 yrs old. I look at her eyes and I believe that if she was 5 her eyes would be yellow. Am I correct in this. Does anyone have any clue of what her approx age would be? Sorry about the pic being sideways.. I forgot to flip it first in my pic program

I am not an expert, but from what I have seen and read, the eye of a mature grey is a straw color--not yellow exactly. My CAG is 20 months old and her eyes are changing for sure, but not yet a straw color. In the picture of Sassy the color looks more "straw-like" than my Grey's. So I am guessing she is older than 2. Whether she is five or not I couldn't say. Who told you she was 5? I'm sure others will be more helpful.

Jeff is right. Dayo's eyes did not turn straw yellow until he was a little over 5.
