Timbersmom Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 LOL Guess some things just come "naturally"
Inara Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Gorgeous girl, I have so loved looking at all of her photos and learning more about her. Inara (TAG) spent her first two years eating a lot of human 'comfort food' so she's just now getting used to things that are a little more on the healthy scale. How great that Kizzy loves her veggies! Can't wait to see more photos and keep up with your adventures!

danmcq Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 What a beautiful day in the sun and then a well deserved nap afterwards. Thanks for sharing these photos.
katana600 Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Kizzy has a charmed life. He gets to walk you and the dogs and drive you on the pontoon boat and hang out in the garden to watch over you. I love looking at his pictures. The silver eyes make me wistful for the baby days. I saw that cockatiel on the floor stand a while back and enjoyed the interaction between Kizzy and your son. Its going to be so much fun when Kizzy starts telling stories to us about what goes on in his house. You are doing such a great job with him.
Kizzybird Posted October 10, 2013 Author Posted October 10, 2013 (edited) Kizzy turned one and he is beginning to be more independent. Not a baby anymore! He used to perch on my shoulder in the evenings before bedtime to get his head scratches. Now he perches on the back of the sofa near me, resulting in me having to reach over and scratch his head. Ah, they grow up too fast. This is a horrible pic, reminding me of the Seinfeld episode "man hands" BWaaaaaaaaa. "] Edited October 10, 2013 by Kizzybird
Kizzybird Posted November 7, 2013 Author Posted November 7, 2013 Kizzy is 13 months old now. Here he is, getting ready for Christmas. Santa Kizzy plans to open a lot of presents. I think we should do a gift exchange on the forum! "]
danmcq Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Very cute photo. Kizzy is looking good as Santa. Thanks for sharing this.
Timbersmom Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Neat! That pic reminded me of last Christmas (our first with Timber). He was so excited about all the excitement. I had him on his playstand in the living room where we were opening presents. One of the kids said "mom, did you notice that Timber is on the couch behind you?" I hadn't, but he was peering over my shoulder intently at the package I was opening. It was early days in our relationship then. This year, I hope he will open one of his gifts himself now that he is more comfortable.
Kizzybird Posted February 27, 2014 Author Posted February 27, 2014 Kizzy is 16 months old and is still the sweetest bird ! He is talking now and is still such a lover. I am expecting that he soon hit his terrible twos, but until then, am fortunate to have a cuddle bird. If the pics turn up sideways it is the web host I am using, sorry! My best buddy
Timbersmom Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Awwww he looks so sweet! Thanks for sharing
katana600 Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 I so enjoy reading about your life with Kizzy. Thanks for the update, I had missed the holiday photos while I was living in a world without internet. Santa Kizzy photos are priceless.
Greywings Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Fun photo of Kizzy thanks for sharing him.
SRSeedBurners Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Hey I remember Kizzy! Our Greys are nearly the same age. Greycie is 16mos on Feb31 (Feb28). You're description sounds nearly identical to us. Cuddle birdy, talking, and fully expecting some naughty two's to come along. Although i think we're starting to see it already.
