I gave Kenzie some treats and then I learned the hard way never to ask Kenzie for kisses after she's been eating dried hot peppers. My lips are on serious fire. I almost wonder if I'm allergic to hot peppers. My lips are bright red and a bit swollen. I'm a wus when it comes to spicy stuff anyway, but this is ridiculous. D'oh! katana600 Posted January 14, 2013 Share Posted January 14, 2013 I just learned the hard way when Java flew over and got into my ice cream, not to scoop up a piece of the ice cream she flung when I removed her back to her cage with a treat of her own. The ice cream was on my mouse pad, so I scooped it up with my finger so as not to get it all melted and sticky. It was not ice cream. I am allergic to them and my throat swells and I cough and cough so I have to be very careful not to touch the peppers. It's a challenge for the gang love their peppers.
