Pixburgh29
Hello everyone! My name is Megan and i've been visiting this forum for the past couple of days. I'm a "CAG mommy to be". My husband and I are anxiously awaiting our baby to come home around mid March. He/She is currently at the breeders and is just a little over 5 weeks old now, having hatched 11/25/12. We will be visiting the grey babies for the first time this Sunday and we couldn't be more excited. This will be our first ever Grey and it took us roughly 2 years to find a breeder that we were comfortable with. I'm sure we'll frequent this forum many times over the years with all of our various questions. So happy to have found it! I attached a photo of the clutch. Our baby is in the middle of the first picture. Our baby is usually easy to tell apart because it's the only one with cute little pink toes
JeffNOK
Hi and welcome. Those pictures are really sweet. It's great that you have joined us here at greyforums. Ask as many questions as you like and enjoy the numerous threads and posts. This site has helped me a lot and I am thankful to have a wonderful relationship with my CAG in large part due to the wisdom of people I have met here. paleale
They are all adorable! In the second picture he or she looks like she's grinning. Love it! What made you choose this baby? I've heard the pinkish-white toes could indicate the baby being (having?) a "red factor". Very cute!

Pixburgh29
Thank you all! We chose this baby based on personality. We haven't been able to visit yet because our household has come down with this cold/flu going around and we both haven't been 100% better until this week. We didn't want to expose the babies to anything of course. However, because we couldn't visit.. the breeder set up a web cam a couple days a week so that we could watch the babies interact and show their little personalities. They are all so different it's amazing! As for the pink toes being attributed to a red factor, i've heard that as well. This is the first "uniquely-toed" baby for this breeder in her 30+ years of breeding as well. She actually held that information from all of us (the 3 families that are taking babies) because she didn't want that to be a factor in choosing (who would ever choose a baby based on appearance anyway is beyond me). We will definitely be taking many pictures during our visit, I could never have enough pictures of him/her to look at. The breeder sends us photos once a week so that we can watch the growth but it'll be nice to have many of my own as well. I'm more excited that since we're all healthy again, we can visit the babies all the time.
