DanielaWelborn Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 I have been talking to Jellybean, of course, as much as I can. Since we installed the swing I have been using the word "swing". I say it a couple of times and then Jellybean will open his beak and it seams he says it, but he is not making any noise. Almost as if he is mouthing it. I hope this makes sense. My question; does that mean anything or is it just wishful thinking?
Jayd Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 A Grey practices before speaking in public, they practice the sound, punctuation etc. Lip syncing is normal. Some Greys never speak in front of you, only when your not in the room....
DanielaWelborn Posted December 29, 2012 Author Posted December 29, 2012 Thank you, today he made a little squeaking sound as I said " swing ". So he is trying to vocalize then? He also lip synced when I said " I love you ". Of course I would love my grey to speak, but if he never does it's all the same. Thank you for your input.
