I have been talking to Jellybean, of course, as much as I can.

Since we installed the swing I have been using the word "swing".

I say it a couple of times and then Jellybean will open his beak and it seams he says it, but he is not making any noise. Almost as if he is mouthing it. I hope this makes sense.

My question; does that mean anything or is it just wishful thinking?

A Grey practices before speaking in public, they practice the sound, punctuation etc. Lip syncing is normal. Some Greys never speak in front of you, only when your not in the room....

Thank you, today he made a little squeaking sound as I said " swing ".

So he is trying to vocalize then?

He also lip synced when I said " I love you ".

Of course I would love my grey to speak, but if he never does it's all the same.
