Hi Ray, thanks for the welcome. We are not sure about our baby's name because we do not know if its a he or she. So for the time being we are calling it Babe, its a cutie and very friendly and cuddly being...kind of a piece of sweet pastry.

We still hand feed Babe 3 times a day and we also give it a mix of seeds, fruits and nuts which it (ooooh the word IT is ugly) started to experment with. We would to like to cut back on the hand feeding formula (Nutribird A19) to two times daily now that Babe has started to eat. Regards

Hello Elsa and welcome to our family.

Your baby grey is adorable, I love those dark eyes they have and she/he is looking like a real sweetheart.

I would continue to handfeed 3 times a day until he/she refuses them then you can cut it back by one, this is abundance feeding method and it lets the bird determine when to stop the feedings, some will sooner and some will later but it is important to give it as long as the baby accepts it, you can supplement with other foods like pellets, a good seed mix, some nuts, vegetables, a little fruit but not every day, grains, legumes, rices and pasta. Be sure to browse thru the nursery room and bird food room for lots of ideas of what to offer.
