jbsmomto1
bc I live in a small town with not much here, I often order bird toys and such online...most stores have them in catagories relating to size.....where does a TAG fit in in there??? Compared to Echo he is extra large but compared to a macaw he is small. So I'm not sure
Sassy
Medium and large should work. That's what I order for my CAG.
judygram
Some of the online stores I order from will tell you what types of birds their toys are suited to, like the small is for keets, tiels and such and medium to large for greys, the large or extra large would be for the macaws or toos. Depending on the toy a tag would fit in the medium to large category.
Wingy
Jake is a small TAG and most of his toys are mediums but that too depends on what it is and what it is made out of.
jbsmomto1
ok med-large it is then lol. I hate not being able to touch the toy and check it all out before I buy it, but if I waited til I went into a city the poor guys would never have any toys to play with. Timbersmom
Agreed. Timber is a TAG and most of the medium/large toys work for him.
Greywings
I find they enjoy many toys you can make at home. We have some threads that give you some good ideas since you know your bird best you can make things that will interest him. My flock loves to take apart paperback books, cardboard boxes, treats wrapped in coffee filters and paper bags are fun toys too. Float some cleaned cranberries or shreds of Kale in a shallow pan of water, wet fun!
Timbersmom
LOL bobbing for Kale. I'll have to try that one! There is some hanging on his skewer now which he is studiously ignoring...
