Does your grey perch on your lamps?

Felix loves to perch on both lamps in our living room. He then proceeds to poop on them, etc. I do remove him when I see him there but I dont always catch him in the act.

Do any of you have this problem?

Only my CAG, Sterling Gris, perches on my torchiere lamp. I have my houseplants below it so he fertilizes my plants while he is warming at the light. Great combination if you ask me.

yea and it is a pet peeve of mine. she gets shooed off the second she lands on a lamp shade.

I do not allow my birds to land on or perch on lampshades, a definite no no.

I had this problem from the get go with both my birds. After shushing them away a gazillion times for about two weeks, it was no longer a problem. They are highly intelligent, but of course as much so being persistent in what they wish to do ,until they come to the utter realization that they will not be allowed there for more than 2 seconds.

Jake hasn't, thank goodness, but most of my lamps are ceiling lights.
