DanielaWelborn Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 I had my beautiful bird out since 6:30 this morning. He did great and behaved quiet well. Three times I had to remove him from on top the cage of my parakeets which is parked right by a french door, because he tried to chew on the wood around the door and the door itself. I finally put him in his cage for a bit and then let him back out. Now the evening is winding down and I need a break; he stepped up for me to transfer him into his cage the first time, no peanut, and then flew back on top of his cage. Right away I ask him to step up again which he did and I was able to put him in his cage, no peanut again. However, I feel he is throwing somewhat of a fit; hanging on to the the side of his cage and even dropping to the bottom three times. Every time he drops he climbs right back up. He just did it again. Should I call it a night, cover him up and call it a night? He really does not seem sick in any way.
DanielaWelborn Posted October 29, 2012 Author Posted October 29, 2012 I just watched him; he is trying to fly inside his cage.
DanielaWelborn Posted October 29, 2012 Author Posted October 29, 2012 He settled down and is now whistling to me and I whistle back and he seem quiet content with that.
BeeFernandez22 Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 I am a newbie so I don't really know very much but it sounds to me like he is just throwing a typical temper tantrum
Jayd Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 He just doesn't want to go to bed, your being challenged, always cover and call it a night.......
