kins2321@yahoo.com Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 As many know, I have been stressing about Sunny's weight. I decided to stop weighing him daily. I'm back to spoon feeding yogurt and oatmeal. He finally looks fatter. I am soooo happy! Nancy
Talon Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Good decision....I weigh my birds only every couple of months or so.
Timbersmom Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Glad to hear it Nancy! Sounds like things are looking up
JeffNOK Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 I'm happy to hear that you are feeling better about Sunny. Hope things keep going in the right direction.
judygram Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 The best thing you could do for Sunny was to quit stressing about her weight, stress in itself is no good for our birds as they pick up on it, now get back to enjoying life with your fids, you all will be happier.
kins2321@yahoo.com Posted September 5, 2012 Author Posted September 5, 2012 Its funny how quickly they adjust to a new routine, when it works in their favor! When Sunny see's his spoon coming... he climbs upside down across his cage, has to get in the right spot on his rope. Then he's ready! BRING IT MAMA!LOL Nancy PS I give very few sunflower seeds. Sunny will eat around ten in the evening.( of course his healthy diet has been consumed.) Is that too much? Nancy
Timbersmom Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 LOL Sounds like Timber when I get the spray bottle. There is a particular perch he wants to be on when I spray him. No help here on the sunflower seeds, not enough experience!
Sarasota Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Yay, Nancy! So glad to hear you and Sunny are doing better!
