Cricket is upset

I have had to leave the house early for the last 8 days and that has cut into Crickets time out of the cage in the morning.

When I come home at night she will do anything to get my attention and it works. She makes me feel so bad because I can`t let her out in the morning with that look thats makes me melt.

When I come home at night and she comes out of her cage. She is all over me for a short time and I have to put her back. She will hang on to me and not let go.

I will be SO glad when we have our morning back.

awww.i know exactly how that feels. I really do think it's worse for you. My birds behave the same way when I have days I have to do tat.

We all have to do that at times. We all feel guilty, but the " welcome home", is so worth it. They never hold it against us, because they love us, and know we love them. Nancy

I know what you mean. I don't think I felt as guilty with my kids when they were young and I had to travel for business or something and didn't see them on normal schedule... Anytime I have to get out of routine with Timber I feel bad and over compensate when I see him. Ha. He has my wrapped around his nail.

They do get used to routine and when we go missing they notice it but it does make us feel so good to come home and they are so happy to see us, all if forgiven.
