Hi! Newbie from Fl here!

Hi there, I just brought home my first african grey a couple weeks ago. He is about 7 weeks old, a congo and we've named him Echo (well, assuming it's a him!) Glad to have found this forum as I am trying to learn as much as I can! I have alot of experience raising goats, horses, cats, dogs, chickens, etc...but this is a first! Looking forward to hearing everyones experiences and advice! -Carissa in Fl

Hello and welcome to the family, Carissa, glad you could join us and we look forward to hearing more about Echo. You must be handfeeding your grey, at 7 weeks old it is not weaned yet I'm sure.

 

We have many threads here that deal with a multitude of topics, please read thru them for lots of useful information on all aspects of grey ownership.

 

We love to see pictures, so if you have one of Echo you would like to share with us please do. If you have any specific questions you would like to ask we will do our best to get you an answer and help you in any way we can.
