Spinner Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 (edited) In response to requests, here's one of my recent videos showing a clutch of babies being fed by both parents. They are less than one week old. You'll have to look hard to see them as they blend well into the background. Enjoy! Edited August 26, 2012 by Spinner
Luvparrots Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Thank you! Love to see the babies interacting with their parents!
Spinner Posted August 26, 2012 Author Posted August 26, 2012 (edited) Now if I could only figure out how to embed the video directly in the post, instead of a simple link. update: the url was missing the http:// at the beginning. Changed it and it works perfectly. Edited August 26, 2012 by Spinner
Timbersmom Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Wow, cool! Thanks for the video. I haven't seen anything like this before.
Sarasota Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 I absolutely love watching birds feed their babies. I could tune in all day. It's amazing how gentle and accurate they are with their beaks.
TWIX Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Amazing! I have not seen that before. There is a lot of love in there
judygram Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 I had no trouble picking out the babies when they moved and it is so sweet and endearing to watch them feed the babies, precious.
aerial.2000 Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 that was just so very amazing! love it what a neat thing to see :D :D ty
danmcq Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 Thanks Dave! It's is great having you back and sharing your video's.
Wulfgeist Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 That was an awesome and intimate look inside the nestbox. Thank you SO much for sharing that with us.
Spinner Posted August 31, 2012 Author Posted August 31, 2012 It was a treat to watch this clutch in the nest box as they were very animated during feeding time. Now that I'm hand-feeding the trio, it's rather hard to keep their little heads still enough to give them their food. They are one of the most active babies I've had.
