Guest Jocelyn
So its been a long time coming but in one week we move into our first home (then we paint redo floors) so in about 3 week we can start seriously looking into Greys. I was trying to go through a rescue but they are taking forever to get back to me. There are two reputable breeders with Greys, 1 has eggs in the nest, 1 has a two year old for sale, both are very similar in price... z What would you guys suggest? Talon
Congrats! My vote is the 2 year old. He needs a new forever home.
Spinner
Hi Jocelyn, Either way, you will have a juvenile grey - a two year old is still very much a baby.

Mistyparrot
Misty was two when I adopted him and I couldn't have made a better decision. That said I think you should go see the parrot in question and see if you click. Steve n Misty
Ray P
We have had Corky our grey from a baby and when we rehomed Cricket our amazon she was 12 years old. We love them both and would never part with eather of them.
Guest Jocelyn
Thanks for all the help guys! I am going to try to get in touch with the rescue one more time and if that doesn't work I will put a deposit down on the two year old...
kins2321@yahoo.com
Jocelyn, I vote for the two year old as well. We got Sophie at age two. She picked us, as several parents were applying to adopt her. SLOW down! Go and meet the two year old if you can. See if it was " meant to be!" I believe birds pick us. Go and see if this baby picks you! Nancy

chezron
Have you met the two-year old? How did you get along? Also, do you know why the bird was given up?
