I'm really sorry...Jay My niece lost one of her Senegals that way. If they fall in they have no way to grip to climb out and no room to spread their wings to fly out. Timbersmom Posted August 25, 2012 Share Posted August 25, 2012 Just don't turn your back on him. There isn't a room in my house where I am willing to leave Timber alone if he is out of his cage. Too nosy, and too anxious to shred everything he can! Between electrical outlets, wires, and things I would assume are toxic (not to mention my 4 free roaming cats), he is never unsupervised when out. I taught my kids to close the lid of the toilet, when they were little, due to the fact we needed to keep birds safe. I'm sure their future wives will complain about the lid being down! LOL!
