chelseaB Posted August 20, 2012 Share Posted August 20, 2012 I noticed several of you commented that you had the Kings Aluminum cage. I have looked at these online, do any of you have problems with the food/water dishes getting soiled all the time? They look like they are mounted low in the cages- just seems like they would get pooped in frequently or is there enough spaces to mount your perches so they don't poop in the bowls? Just wondering. I have a powder coated cage, it is only 3 years old & Biscotti has worn some of the coating off the door already. I would love to upgrade to stainless or aluminum someday. Thanks for your input!! alexispolicastro Posted August 20, 2012 Share Posted August 20, 2012 Hi... no I don't have any issue with the bowls being so low , there are perches in front of the bowls which stormy sits on to eat... we really love her cage.. its so easy to clean... and its pretty... lol and no rust! Greys HATE changes to their enviroment, and don't adapt well to new cages, in the future. The cage you choose, should be a " forever" cage. CLB Posted August 23, 2012 Share Posted August 23, 2012 I have to disagree about ALL Greys hating change. I am sure like most things, acepting change is something that is/can be learned. My Grey came to me with the cage she had live din for her 8 years of life and now after less than a year with us, gladly accepts any of the 4 cages options available to her.
