Sarasota
Seriously, I only have two parrots! What a glorious mess. And Sondheim just went to town on the toucan's papaya. Little monkey!
CLB
I love it!! Unfortunate about all the dishes. But so very worth the effort.

Timbersmom
Do you refrigerate the leftovers and serve them during the following days?
Sarasota
Do you refrigerate the leftovers and serve them during the following days? I make about enough for a week or two, freeze the servings in ziplock baggies and defrost daily. It's the only way to keep things running smoothly! The toucan's food has to be prepared fresh daily, no getting around that. And I have a loft to feed, two dogs and four fish. It cuts down on a lot of chopping and cooking! Timbersmom
I've been freezing my birdie bread, but hadn't tried freezing chop and the Mundo Brazil mix I fix. With just the one bird, I don't spend all my time in the kitchen, but I could make bigger batches and save myself a little time. I don't have to travel much, but I would definitely need to do that if I had to be gone. Thanks!
