Sassy
Is it normal to not sleep a wink the first night your baby is home? Cause I sure didn't. Heard her around 5:30 playing with her toys and eating. She's just chilling out so nice in her new cage. I love her soooo much. Wingy
The day Jake came home my partner in crime was teasing that I would probably sleep on the couch because I was concerned about him being frightened and injuring himself in the night. I went to bed like normal but in the morning I discovered my partner had slept on the couch.

katana600
Not just normal, but delightfully familiar. It doesn't necessarily go away with time. Our rehomed guy Gilbert is still rattled by thunder and lightning, so I sleep on the couch with a nightlight so he can see me when it storms if he is anxious. And to this day no matter how tired I am, when I hear him in the morning asking for breakfast, I can't scramble out of my bed fast enough to see his little face. kins2321@yahoo.com
We all love our birds, like they are our children! LOL! Many sleepless nights here as well. If they weren't feeling well and seeing the vet the next day, they slept in bed with me. Zoey always moved over. How sick is that! Nancy
