Help with t perch

I built a perch out of PVC. How do I keep her from sliding off?

Have you tried winding with sisal cord? You can get it in various diameters. Just wind it along the T bar and it will give good grip.

You can also purchase vet wrap and it comes in many different colors to wrap the bars, it will give a good grip when she gets on it, just google it, usually associated with horses.

both are great ideas, vet wrap i find he likes to pick away, i screwed in a couple sandy perches and a bird safe wood perch. sisal works but make sure its not coated with anything.

Hi, I'm going to be a party pooper. PVC is poison, Always use CPVC, it only costs a couple of penny s more. Please buy your ropes and twines from a bird safe store and only use "Vegetable Tanned Leather.. Thanks Maggie.

I believe I have the cpvc as it is rated for potable water. Just need to get it covered.
