Joeyfoto
I'm a photographer and a new CAG owner, I am wanting to take some pictures, but am reserved about flash photography, I dont want to blind him/her... I have a Nikon D80 and an SB-800 flash.. anyone have a similar setup or any advice/input?
BMustee
The flash is fine. I have taken pics of my grey with a disposable camera and he doesn't act like he is blinded or anything.
judygram
Click away, the flash is fine to use, just get us some pictures so we can admire his beauty. B)
jujubechan
Joey, try to bounce the flash off the ceiling with a diffuser instead of directing it at the poor birdie, or just take pictures near the window, natural light from the window is perfect for indoors pictures. twogreys
Bit late for this one, I know, but if you are using a DSLR and the light is a bit dim, hike the ISO up as far as your camera will allow. Mine own can go up to 3200 ISO, so maybe yours can too. This is a full five stops more than 100 iso.
