CLB
This is Sami. She is a 3 month old Normal Green Cheek Conure. It seems that the visiting of the 2 little greencheeks got the best of my oldest son as he fell for this little girl and has officially added her to our flock. Sammy is quite the charmer and has quickly become a favorite of all. It seems our home has been heavily hit by MBS.... and we aren't looking for the cure. Edited July 20, 2012 by CLB apparently I misspelled her name! oops
oblivion
Awwww, welcome, little one! My first bird ever, a blue budgie from Sears, was named Sam. I have no idea where we came up with that name other than it was gender neutral (turned out to be a she).
danmcq
What a cutie! Conures are such brave hearts and much more social many times than a grey. Our conure Jake loves people and constantly tries to buddy up with Dayo, however he is always chased off. Congrats on this new addition. Thanks for sharing this. judygram
What a cutie, I love conures even though they get a bad rap because most are screamers but they are so cuddly and make great companions.
CLB
Judygram...funny you should mention the "reputation" of all conures being loud. Even when there were 2 of them, these little birds have the sweetest voices. Of course only time will tell, but I can not imagine that Sammy's sweet chirps could ever be considered annoying.
