thenabrd
i've looked and looked but can't get the same answer, so if this is a repeat question, sorry, i just haven't found the answer! i've just harvested sweet basil and lemon basil for the season. it's been so hot and dry, i've just decided enough is enough. i've trimmed of the flowering areas and seed developing areas that escaped my notice until now, lol! can i safely give the flowers/developing seeds to my birds? if so, is raw ok or do they need to be steamed? also, just the flowers/developing seeds or can they also have some of the leaf? thanks for your help!!!
