I caught heck from the ladies at the shop because I "should have been bringing it and getting him used to it, he'll never take to it now". Well I couldn't because I had just gotten it! After he came home it didn't take but a day or two to get it on him. The first day was a mess, I wasn't good at putting it on. Second day he held still for me, I guess I was lucky in that respect.
