Wingy
Does the container have an ingredient list? Is it anything other than fruit? Before people get up in arms about "jelly" it means many different things depending on the country. Sometimes it is pureed fruit with or without pectin, sometimes it is what we in the US refer to as jello, and in the US is it a flavored spread made with pectin and sugar. (I might be missing an example or 2 but these are what I know are called jellies).

Talon
Yea, too much jelly contains sugar and is bad for them. An occassional tiny bit is ok.
judygram
If we are talking about jelly as in a spread for bread yes it has too much sugar in it, in fact that is the main ingredient and should not be fed to our birds, no wonder he gets crazy when he sees it but very bad for him I am afraid. kins2321@yahoo.com
Kiki loves jelly. She gets a small bite once a month, on her toast. She is happy! Nancy
