petrik1
Our grey (he is 4) is plucking undercoat, no feathers. I think, he is maybe nervous or he is itching by growing new feathers. What do you think? How can I resolve it? thx
judygram
When they are molting they are usually itchy so be sure to give frequent baths as it helps, you can also get aloe vera juice that you can use straight from the bottle that seems to help even more, not sure about the availability in Slovakia but is usually found in the pharmacy section. petrik1
thx for answer, but our honey hates water (bathing). I tried to give him fresh aloe vera, but he didn't want to eat it. Aloe vera juice is good idea. I try to search, where it is in offer in Slovakia (Bratislava).
petrik1
I found two products: the 1st - 99,77% with exceptional purity and free from pulp (from Pharma Activ) the 2nd - 99,7% juice and pulp (Victor Philippe) What is better? And how much and how often can he drink it?
judygram
I would get the first product you listed free from pulp and you use it in a sprayer to bathe your grey, it is ok for them to ingest it but to help with plucking issues it is used on the body. petrik1
I'll try it. It'll be a big shriek
Greywings
Spray over her head allowing the mist to fall on her rather than spraying her directly, much less threatening.
petrik1
Yes, yes, I wanted to ask about it. But what about his eyes? Can it hurt him? Some problems with eyes. Or is it safe?
Luvparrots
It won't hurt their eyes if a little gets in while spraying but no you should not be spraying them in the eyes or face. My CAG loves to come up to the nozzle and take the spray directly into his mouth. He seems to love the taste.
petrik1
I was spraying him today, but he didn't like it. My wife helped me. So, I hope that help him. How often per week can I do it? Thx
