What kind of toys do they like? Do they chew wood? I hope I get this cockatiel, but if not, I WILL be ready for the next one...

They like stuff with beads and ropes, not much wood and you should keep around three toys for each 'Tiel and rotate them every three weeks. This is what we do and not necessarily the norm or a standard/must do. Papa

Jay is right, they like small things that they can carry around in their beak or push around at the bottom of their cage. Hanging things they can reach just far enough away from their perch so they have to stretch to reach them.

Some times they have a favorite toy so I will rotate the others but always leave their favorite toy in the cage.

They love earrings so if they are on your shoulder and you have earrings on they will remove them.

They do not use their feet the same way a larger parrot does so they will carry their toys and toss them around or just bang them around if they are hanging.
